Christmas Day Reef Trips From Port Douglas

Port Douglas Christmas Day On The Great Barrier Reef

It is now close to Xmas and the Christmas decorations are out in the shops, the television and radio advertising is getting into full swing and our letterboxes are being jam packed with advertising materials for the upcoming Christmas and school holiday festive season all over Australia.

In Port Douglas we have many visitors from overseas and from all over Australia coming to enjoy our beautiful rainforest region and to spend some time seeing the Great Barrier Reef. For some it will quite possibly be their very first time to see this world re-known icon.

Christmas Day is one of those days that would make visiting the Great Barrier Reef extra special for any family so we have compiled the reef trips that currently have seats available for Christmas Day from Port Douglas.

Please note due to the small number of reef tours operating on Christmas Day these seats are selling out very fast so please huddle with your family and friends as soon as possible and call us on 07 4059 5959 to book or use our instant confirmation book-online button to secure your place to see Santa on the Great Barrier Reef

The reef trips will offer all the normal activities like introductory and certified scuba diving, snorkel tours and other in water activities.

For the younger families the children will be fitted with flotation vests and a lot of the boats have foam pool noodles that you place under your arms whilst snorkelling to keep you afloat. With all of these in-water safety devices everyone get to enjoy snorkelling the beautiful Great Barrier Reef on Christmas Day.

Both morning and afternoon teas are served as is a big buffet lunch to satisfy all types of dietary requirements (please advise dietary needs in advance to see if they can be catered for).

Coach transfers and pick-ups from your holiday accommodation in Port Douglas may also be included along with the booking of transfers from Cairns, Palm Cove or the Northern beaches.

Alcoholic beverages will be served on the boats on Christmas Day but you need to follow the crews advice on consumption at all times. Guests will only be permitted to drink alcohol once you have completed your in-water activities to ensure your safety and the safety of other guests on the reef trip.
